To make the projects I made in my portfolio, I had to learn how to use Photoshop and Illustator, both of which are very difficult. They both have different things that you need to learn in order to use and I believe that Photoshop is the easier one overall. Illustrato, was big in shape making with using a pen or pencil tool being a major part or it (in photoshop but not as much of a key aspect) and was much more time consuming to make you project look acceptable. For my Landscape photo, it was completely created by using lines to make shapes and having the effects added which gave it the overall look. It took a lot of practice to get good at both of these application and that is the best way to get better.
